After Hours
If you have a life threatening emergency after the office is closed, report to the nearest emergency room or call 911. If it is urgent that you speak with the doctor before the office opens on the next business day, you can reach the physician on call by calling (719) 477-1033 and leaving your phone number on the urgent line.
Appointments
Please call our office to schedule your appointments. We will make every effort to get you scheduled with the doctor you have chosen as soon as possible. If he/she is booked, we may ask if you would be willing to see one of our other doctors. If there are questions, we will contact your primary physician to be sure that we are scheduling the appropriate type of appointment [consultation, test]. Please bring a list of all your medications with you.
Medication Refills
All medication refills prescribed by our physicians should be handled during regular office hours. The most efficient way is to call your pharmacy first. If there is a question regarding your prescription, the pharmacy will contact us. If you need a written prescription for mail orders or for a military facility, please call our office at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance to allow your request to be fulfilled.
Test Results
Patients should call our office for results if they have not been otherwise contacted within five (5) business days of the test(s). Depending on the type of test, results may be given to the patient on the day of the test or at a follow-up appointment.

We will make every effort to return phone calls within 24 business hours. Please leave an accurate phone number, a detailed message and best daytime phone number to return your call.
